  • Progressive side wagers: Casino games such as Caribbean Stud Poker regularly have one of these. Although big jackpots like this are particularly appealing, they’re also very hard to win. You might have to get a Royal Flush in order to hit this wager.   • Single number wagers in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. Why? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just one. This takes the complete house advantage from 2.63% with a single zero wheel to a whopping five% in American. The one number bet has only a 1 in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red wagers instead which have a much lower casino edge.
  • Keno: Any variation of Keno, and anyway you bet on it, the house advantage can be a whopping 25%. Yes, that isn’t a error. Because of the large set of numbers you have to pick, it isn’t advisable to gamble on Keno very much. A few times for enjoyment, maybe. But do not spend all your money on it or you will immediately discover yourself bankrupt.
